⚠️
PARTIAL
Zapier does not have a traditional API for running Zaps. However, it offers Natural Language Actions API for AI integrations and webhook triggers.
What We Found
We checked this in April 2026 and here's what we found — Zapier doesn't offer a standard API to trigger Zaps. However, Zapier Natural Language Actions (NLA) API lets AI assistants and LLMs trigger actions across 7,000+ apps using natural language. You can also use Webhooks by Zapier to trigger Zaps programmatically via HTTP requests. These approaches enable API-like automation.
Limitations
- ⚠️ No traditional REST API for Zaps
- ⚠️ NLA API designed for AI use cases
- ⚠️ Webhook triggers need paid plan
- ⚠️ Cannot query Zap status or data via API
